Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026

1. Controller

The controller responsible for the processing of your personal data is:

Plexify GmbH
[Address — TO FILL IN]
Germany
Email: hello@tokenometrics.com

2. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, and protect personal data in connection with:

  • Your visit to tokenometrics.com (the "Website").
  • Your sign-up to the Tokenometrics waitlist via the form on our Website.

It does not apply to any future Tokenometrics product or service, which will be covered by a separate data processing agreement.

3. What data we collect

Through the waitlist form we collect:

  • Email address (required) — to register your interest, contact you about Tokenometrics, and send you the welcome email.

Automatically, when you visit the Website, we collect the following limited data through Umami, a privacy-friendly web analytics tool:

  • Anonymous, pseudonymous usage data (pages visited, referrer, country — derived from IP and immediately discarded, no full IP stored).
  • No persistent identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.

Umami is self-hosted or configured in line with GDPR; it does not set marketing cookies and does not require a cookie banner under current guidance.

4. Purposes and legal bases (Art. 6 GDPR)

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your sign-up and operating the waitlist — Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a B2B communication channel).
  • Sending product updates, pilot success stories, and onboarding information by email — Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual relationship with a prospective B2B customer).
  • Website analytics (Umami) — Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding aggregate usage to improve the Website).
  • Compliance with legal obligations — Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR (e.g. commercial and tax retention obligations).

We do not rely on consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) for the waitlist, because the communication relates to a B2B pre-contractual relationship and to information you have actively requested.

5. Recipients and service providers

We share your personal data only with carefully selected service providers who act as our processors (Art. 28 GDPR):

  • Resend Inc. — email delivery, audience storage, and welcome email delivery. Data is stored in the EU region (eu.resend.com). Resend acts as our processor under a Data Processing Addendum (DPA). Server location: Frankfurt, Germany (EU).
  • Hosting / server infrastructure — the Website is served from servers within the European Union (e.g. Frankfurt or similar). The hosting provider acts as our processor under a DPA.
  • Umami — privacy-friendly analytics, configured in a privacy-compliant manner.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.

6. International data transfers

Some of our processors (e.g. Resend) may transfer data outside the European Economic Area in certain limited scenarios (e.g. support engineering, sub-processors). Where this happens, transfers are protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and, where applicable, by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The primary storage location for your email address is the EU region (Resend EU).

7. Retention

We retain your email address on the waitlist for as long as we operate the waitlist or until you unsubscribe — whichever comes first. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email we send, or by contacting hello@tokenometrics.com. We will delete or anonymise your data within 30 days of your unsubscribe request.

Umami analytics data is retained in aggregate form for a maximum of 12 months and is not linked to you personally.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access (Art. 15) the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification (Art. 16) of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure (Art. 17), subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18).
  • Data portability (Art. 20).
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21).
  • Withdraw any consent you may have given (Art. 7 (3)) — without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@tokenometrics.com.

The competent data protection supervisory authority for us is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (BlnBDI) ([https://www.datenschutz-berlin.de](https://www.datenschutz-berlin.de)).

9. Cookies

The Website does not set marketing or advertising cookies. Umami is configured cookie-free and does not require consent under current guidance from European data protection authorities.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Where changes are material, we will notify subscribers on the waitlist by email.
